Unlike Any Other . . .
I was in the Subaru dealership picking up October's brand new Forester because the part they need to fix the funny noise won't be in for another week.
While I was in there, I saw a review of reliability posted on the wall, which they claimed was from the LA Times in March of this year. Oddly, I have done some searches on that esteemed paper's website and not found a trace of the article.
However, the thing that caught my eye on the review wasn't how reliable Subaru cars are. (And by the way, why would you post that in the service area, where people wait for you to tell them how hosed their Subaru is?) The thing that caught my eye was the fact that Mercedes-Benz vehicles were (as they have been for as long as I can remember) among the least reliable. I have even come up with a new ad slogan for them:
The The Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
Repair bill. Unlike any other.
